Users of aluminum, hard anodizing companies and researchers will meet in Seattle in 2018 to discuss the latest trends and solutions for the aluminum surface treatment industry. The bi-annual technical symposium is an event for anyone who uses aluminum for technical applications. Our comprehensive symposium includes an opening-night cocktail reception and dinner, plus two full days of scientific and process-related presentations with a focus on functional oxide layers on aluminum parts. In addition to the technical presentations, a variety of networking activities are arranged to continue discussions with colleagues.

To enhance your experience in Seattle, we have planned two optional social activities during the symposium. The activities are not included in the registration fee and additional costs are required.
One of Seattle's favorite aviation attractions, the Future of Flight Aviation Center is where the Boeing Factory Tour begins. The center offers the only publicly available opportunity to tour a commercial jet assembly plant in North America. The Boeing Tour is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to view 747, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliners being assembled on the Everett production line before they take to the sky. Each tour is approximately 90 minutes long and includes fascinating facts about Boeing and the planes that bear its name.
Registration fee includes tickets for the tour plus transportation to/from the factory.
Cutters Crabhouse seafood restaurant is in downtown Seattle near the historic Pike Place Market. Cutter’s Crabhouse has a quarter-century long tradition of serving the freshest Northwest seafood including crab, salmon, clams, shrimp, halibut and more. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Elliot Bay waterfront while dining on the "perfect taste" of Seattle.
Registration fee includes a three-course meal, open bar and all taxes and gratuities.
